Conducting the Australian Graduate Survey
This section covers official methodology and recommended practice for conducting the Australian Graduate Survey (AGS).
Broad overview on the conduct of the AGS
For institutional survey managers
Please note that at any given time, AGS cycles for up to three different years may be in process simultaneously (see Annual Survey Cycle). As methodology and best practice can differ from year to year, it's essential that survey managers refer to the relevant year when seeking information on conduct requirements. For example, in August of calendar year 2008, engagement and contact activities with respect of the October round that year should be guided by the protocols found under the 2009 menu. In contrast, data processing activities in August should be found under 2008.
The Standard Recommended Methodology is superceded by the AGS Manual and related documentation for the particular year.
