Employment Skills Survey - December 2006

In December of 2006 an Employment Skills Survey form was sent by the Victoria University of Wellington to a sample of 346 NZ employers who were actively recruiting or who have recently recruited university graduates. The university received replies from 113 employers, giving it a response rate of 33 per cent. VUW's objective was to identify the most requested skills and attributes which employers look for in new graduates. Employers were asked to rank in order of priority 24 skills/attributes which have been most commonly requested in previous years. This report is the result of the survey.
