Macquarie University is renowned for its interdisciplinary research and teaching, highly skilled graduates and first-class facilities. Located in the heart of Australia’s largest high-technology precinct, Macquarie benefits from an environment of outstanding research and innovation, as well as learning and teaching opportunities with some of the world’s leading organisations.

To support the transition of our students into employment, the Career and Employment Service offers a friendly and proactive service to employers. Operating as a ‘hub and spoke” service,Career Consultants are aligned with faculty to augment the existing ‘central’ service. This model was based on the setting of a strategic, theoretical and operating framework for service delivery with staff working from the central career office and, being aligned as ‘account managers’ for specific sub populations. These included Faculty of Business and Economics, Human Sciences, Arts, Sciences, International and Post Graduate students.
