Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS)

The Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) is a document which is given to students with their academic transcript and testamur at graduation. The AHEGS is currently being implemented by all Australian universities and some Australian private higher education providers. A number of universities have already started issuing AHEGS to graduating students.

Postgraduate Destinations 2009 report released

The Global Financial Crisis caused some problems for new postgraduates seeking full-time employment in 2009 but also saw salaries for those in employment grow by 5.5 per cent, according to recently released findings from the Australian Graduate Survey.

Beyond Graduation 2009 report released

The Beyond Graduation Survey, which contacted graduates three years after the completion of their studies, revealed that more than 80 per cent of full‐time employed graduates considered themselves to be in a job related to their long‐term career goals three years after course completion.
