Commencing this year, all our offerings will be provided by the newly formed Melbourne Careers Centre, which brings together the former Careers & Employment as well as the faculty-based careers services within the faculty of Business & Economics, Law and Engineering.

The main focus of the Melbourne Careers Centre is to enhance employability of the university’s students and graduates, enabling them to succeed in their chosen program of study and their future careers.

Melbourne graduates are prominent in political, cultural, academic and business arenas throughout the world. Our graduates are actively recruited by high-profile employers from Australia and around the world for their problem-solving skills, capacity for independent critical thought and leadership potential.

Employer Visits
On campus presentations provide you with an excellent opportunity to network with targeted student groups while providing detailed information about your organisation, employment opportunities, application process and upcoming recruitment activities.

Our team will book the venue, set up the audio-visual equipment and assist you in ensuring that your event runs smoothly.

Employers are welcome on campus to participate in activities at any time of the year; however the peak recruiting seasons are Mar-May and Aug-Sep.

In addition to careers fairs and information sessions, other opportunities are available to connect with students. For further information see our Melbourne Careers Centre website (http://careers.unimelb.edu.au/employers) or contact one of the industry team members listed above.

Careers Fairs
Careers fairs are a highly effective way for employers to:
- Introduce your organisation to prospective graduate employees
- Inform students of employment opportunities within your organisation
- Publicise your recruitment activities and distribute information
- Maintain your profile and students’ awareness of your organisation

The Melbourne Careers Centre holds a Graduate Careers Fair annually in March and many other employer activities throughout the year. For more information on these opportunities please visit our Melbourne Careers Centre website.
