The University of Newcastle, established in 1965, has a student population of approximately 32,000. We offer a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs delivered by five faculties – Business and Law, Education and Arts, Engineering and Built Environment, Health and Science and Information Technology. We are proud of our reputation and the quality of our graduates. It is the perfect place in which to grow academically, professionally and personally. We have two major campuses: Newcastle campus located 12 kilometres from the centre of Newcastle at Callaghan and the Central Coast campus located at Ourimbah. The university also offers limited undergraduate degree programs at the North Coast Institute of TAFE at Port Macquarie. Recently we have established a presence in the Sydney Central Business District.
